Terms of service

The deal.

The fine print, in big print. Using the site means you agree to it.

The short version

  • 16 or older. One human, one ape.
  • Bananas aren’t money. Never bought, sold or cashed out.
  • Do the work yourself, on the real product.
  • Bananas never buy fake reviews, fake accounts or captchas.
  • The house rules are part of the deal. No evil.
  • You own what you write. Makers use the work they paid for.
  • Break the rules, lose the account. The site comes as is.

Last changed

This is the deal between you and Apes Together Strong (“we”), who run apestogetherstrong.si. Two more pages come with it: oodbx, the house rules, and the privacy policy. Don’t agree? Don’t use the site.

Who can be an ape

  • You’re 16 or older.
  • One human, one account. No bots, no alts, no accounts for someone else, no selling or sharing yours.
  • What you sign up with is true. Keep your login safe: what happens on your account is on you.

Bananas

Bananas are points for swapping work on this site. Not money, not property, not a currency.

  • No cash value. They can’t be bought, sold, traded for anything off the site or cashed out.
  • We run the economy. Rewards, the zoo tax, caps and prizes are on the pricing page, and we can change them.
  • We can fix balances a bug got wrong, and take back bananas earned by cheating.
  • Leave or get banned and your bananas go with you. They don’t transfer.

Doing tasks

  • Do the task you claimed, on the real product, following the brief.
  • Your answers are true and yours, about what actually happened. AI filler is slop, and slop gets rejected.
  • Makers reject only for a listed reason, with a note. You can contest within 7 days. Work nobody reviews in 72 hours is approved automatically.
  • Troop Duty: you join the maker’s closed test with your Google account, and that account’s email goes to the maker for their tester list.

Posting tasks

  • Only for apps and sites you own or are allowed to test.
  • Your app listing and brief are honest about what the product does.
  • Review on time, for a listed reason. Your fairness score is public.
  • Troop Duty emails are for your tester list. Nothing else: no mailing lists, no marketing, no selling.

Bananas never buy:

  • Spoofed reviews or ratings. The ape never used it, posts from a fake account, or the maker picked the stars or wrote the words. Honest ones from apes who used the thing are fine.
  • Harmful reviews. 1-star raids on a rival, lies, or anything written to hurt someone.
  • Store reviews on Troop Duty. Or ratings. A closed test is testing: no stars, no reviews, not even honest ones.
  • Captchas and fakes. Solving captchas, creating fake accounts, or faking signups, installs, votes or traffic.
  • Breaking other sites’ terms. Anything else that breaks another site’s terms, or hands over passwords or personal data.
  • Real money. Or crypto, or anything that needs a card.

No evil.

oodbx is the house code and part of these terms. On top of it, don’t:

  • Harass, threaten or slander anyone. Roast apps, not makers.
  • Post anything illegal or hateful, or someone else’s private info.
  • Spread malware, phish, or link to anything that hurts the people who open it.
  • Scrape the site, break it, or game the bot check, the limits or the economy.
  • Pretend to be someone you’re not.

Your stuff

  • You own what you post: profile, apps, briefs, answers, quotes. Post only what you have the right to.
  • You let us store, show and copy it as needed to run the site, worldwide and free, for as long as it’s on the site.
  • Answers belong to the task. The maker who posted it can use them to build, fix and decide things about their product.
  • Your handle goes public on a quote only if you opt in, and you can pull it any time.

Other people’s products

Tasks send you to apps and sites we don’t run. Their terms apply there, and the maker answers for their product and their brief, not us. Test with accounts and devices you’re fine with. Don’t install anything you don’t trust.

When it ends

  • Leave any time: Settings, “Leave the tree”. Your bananas burn, your open tasks close, and you become “a former ape”.
  • Break these terms or oodbx and we can remove your stuff, pull your tasks, freeze your bananas or ban the account. Not always with a warning.
  • We can change or switch off any part of the site. If we ever close the whole tree, we’ll tell you first.

No promises

The site comes as is. We don’t promise it’s always up or bug-free, that a task gets done, or that the work is any good.

As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost data, lost sleep) or for what other apes, makers and their products do. For anything else, the most we owe you, in total, is US$100. Nothing here takes away rights the law won’t let you sign away.

Changes and questions

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or on the site before it kicks in. Keep using the site after that and you’ve accepted them. The date at the top is the last change.
